perfect for basic printing chores. i couldn't be happier with this printer so far. i was able to purchase this at office depot for 46 dollars.i absolutely think it is well worth that. in my opinion this is a quality ink jet printer that prints fast,c
PROS: easy to use,quick prinitng,nice design,great price.quick set up to PC.
CONS: ink is always costly but that is true for all inkjets.with the software,i don't like HP's update alerts so i disabled it.

"BETTER than average"
Out of the box does not appear to be anything special but stuck with the brand. I was very surprised by the slow driver install time almost 30 minutes... Since it has been nothing but reliable. : )
