The Sharp i-Elegance line of docking speaker systems turns your personal iPod into a stereo jukebox for all your friends and family to enjoy. Compatible with every iPod that incorporates a 30-pin dock connector, the system plays and charges your iPod simultaneously, making it easy to enjoy your favorite tunes whether lounging on the patio or cooking in the kitchen. The i-Elegance is equipped with a pair of front-firing, full-range speakers and two side-firing subwoofers, which combine to produce crisp, crystal-clear highs and mids and a deep, powerful bass performance. Adding to the audio versatility is a six-step electronic equalizer that customizes the sound based on the music genre, along with an E-sound mode that improves the quality of compressed digital sound. The latter feature is great for digital music formats, as it reverses the deterioration that results from compression technologies by enhancing the sound frequency spectrum and increasing the sound pressure. The i-Elegance also includes a digital AM/FM tuner that picks up all your favorite stations, with 32 station presets for quick and efficient tuning. The built-in alarm, meanwhile, lets you wake to your favorite iPod selections or a buzzing alarm (other alarm options include a sleep timer and a programmed shutoff mode). And users will love the system's compact remote control, which lets them control all the functions of the i-Elegance from across the room. Additional details include an RCA video output jack for connecting the system to a TV or monitor, an auxiliary input for connecting an MP3 player or personal CD player, and an easy-to-read fluorescent display.
