"retro, obnoxious, and awesome"
its big, loud, and looks cool doing it. works great as an ipod dock, has video out, remote, etc. Yes its size makes it somewhat impractical and overkill, but thats what makes it great. besides. thats why your ipod came with earbuds. Updated on Dec

PROS: just look at it. the sheer awesomeness of walking down the street with it is reason enough to buy it. you cant help but feel kool holding it up on your shoulder.
CONS: Needs good rechargeable batteries; a good lithium pack or something.

This is an expensive piece of electronics. It is certainly not portable because it is huge. A full size boom box for sure. You would think for the cost you'd get a decent product but no, it truly is a terrible device. I have had so many problems that

PROS: It looks cool. Has the retro style that is making a comeback everywhere and carries the Lasonic name. The sound is good, especially at higher volumes.
CONS: It is cheaply made. I have had this product for 2 months and already I have problems. It shuts off for no reason (in the middle of playing), half of the display no longer works and worst of all, the customer service is ridiculous. Laughable even.

"Blast from the Past Fun"
The Lasonic i931 is not something you want to use too often as your main IPOD speakers. But it's a fun relic from the past. Buy this one for novelty value only.

PROS: The Lasonic i931 is an unapologetically retro iPod boom box that packs plenty of features into its enormous frame.
CONS: The Lasonic i931's construction is so flimsy it feels fake, and its oversized body is absurd for a portable device.
