Everything seemed fine with this iPod alarm player, then one day, for no reason, the digital display went black. Everything else works, but without the display it cannot be used as a clock or an alarm!

In the search for the perfect iPod alarm clock, there have been winners and there have been duds . Macally's TunePro ($129) looks like a winner, but its complex settings might be overwhelming for those who have a hard time forming complete sentences

PROS: The Macally TunePro iPod alarm clock offers a gorgeous modern design, above-average audio quality, and an advanced set of controls at an affordable price.
CONS: The TunePro excels as an alarm clock, but as an all-purpose speaker system it's only so-so. Some will find the TunePro's many controls to be overwhelming.

Pros: charges iPod if you have no other way to do it Cons: bad sound, quit working in 6 months Lousy, tinny sound. And it quit working about six months after I got it. Of course, the warranty is 3 months. Don't buy it.
