Nice Item Except For Serious Bug
Although this portable DVD player is a very nice item for the price, as mentioned in other reviews it suffers from a serious bug -- it can display widescreen 16:9 video but it will not crop the display on the sides to properly show 4:3 video, instead stretching it horizontally to fit and...

Two in a row have died prematurely.
I wish that I could assign this product 0 stars.Picture quality was good. Controls easy. Wished that there were better sound range, as different disks seem to have different volumes and this player couldn't compensate. It was often difficult to hear over average car noises. But, all of these...

Does the job it was purchased for and does it well.
My wife and I took our grandson (3 years old) on a long trip in the car. We felt that a portable DVD player would help keep him occupied on the trip (both in the car and in the hotel). It did. Thanks to its ease of operation, picture and sound quality, and versatility (working off of both the 12...
