Great collection!
I love this collection. I'm more of a hard rock fan but this stuff brings back some great 80's memories. Time after time and True colors reminds me of high school and the girl friend and friends I had then that have all since moved away or just lost touch. Great music like this moves us to...

She bopped and flopped
Cyndi Lauper was an icon of 1980's MTV generation hooray of fake importance. "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun", written by Robert Hazard as a wry comment on sexual mores was uptossed upturned and confetti celebrated as an anthem for pre-adolecent girls wanting to wear colorful clothes and kinda rebel...

The Eseential Cyndi lauper
Ms. lauper had the look, the style, and the pipes to be a major force in the 1980's. At the time, I thought she was going to outdo Madonna, but she was not as driven and her career sputterred, even though she still has a loyal fan base to this day. If you like Cyndi, this is the best collection...

Absolutely Essential
This is a great collection of Cyndi's music. I was going to buy She's So Unusual but this album had all the great songs from that CD along with a couple of extra great songs from other albums and singles. Cyndi's music is fantastic and plays well even today (although I am biased as I grew up...

Can't stop messing with the Danger Zone
Cyndi Lauper is one of those eighties singers whose talent was modest but personality was overwhelming. It was what made "She's So Unusual" so brilliant; Cyndi was so totally outside the mold that everything on it quaked with the stellar portrayal of the artist as a young woman. From the classic...

Girls just wanna have fun listening to this CD
Actually, the person who wanted this was my spouse, but it's really an enjoyable CD. I'm glad to see the Goonies music on here--that was one of my favorite songs from a hard to find soundtrack. I'd never heard "Sisters of Avalon" before and that's definitely a song that intrigued me.

Some of her best tunes
This album is a great "best of" for anyone wanting to add some Cyndi to their music library. She is such an underappreciated talent.

somewhat disappointed
I waited a long time to purchase any of Cyndi Lauper's music and this was the first purchase. It was good, but I guess I expected it to be great after all these years. Not a bad purchase; just disappointing.
