Review from a shopper who 'Loved it'
From: Posted: Jun 01, 2009 Type: User Review It had to be a cop that shot the big wig lawyer

Angels Flight is another solid entry in the Harry Bosch series. It's got an interesting but very slow first half. When the second half of this story starts, look out. Connelly takes his readers on a roller coaster ride through a series of...

Review from a shopper who 'Hated it'
From: Posted: Sep 06, 2009 Type: User Review Neanderthal

Although I am a avid reader, I had never read anything by Michael Connelly until mid July. Since then I have read ten of them.( 2 Haller; 2 McEvoy; and 6 Bosch ) There are a whole lot of things that I like about Harry Bosch. First ,of course, is...

Review from a shopper who was 'On the Fence'
From: Posted: Oct 22, 2008 Type: User Review Very readable

First what I didn't like: uses "nodded" too much, another "cop gone bad" story which is an overused ploy and one of Connelly's favorites.

What I did like is that it was well done with good characterizations. Dialogue good, plot good...

Review from a shopper who 'Loved it'
From: Posted: Jan 05, 2009 Type: User Review A Fine Whodunit

A suspicious death, Scotland Yard, and a full cast of suspects make for an enjoyable whodunit. Kincaid and James as the main police characters are not as vivid as Elizabeth George's Thomas Lynley and Barbara Havers, but they have promise. In any...

This is the first book that I've read by this author, and most definitely the last. It is completely devoid of any craftsmanship;the plot is unbelievably sloppily laid out;the characters are one-dimensional.

Review from a shopper who 'Loved it'
From: Posted: Jul 06, 2009 Type: User Review Great Series

I've read THE FOURTH MAN, THE MAN IN THE WINDOW and THE LAST FIX.
Each book is better than the last. I'm a big fan of the Wallander, Beck, Adamsberg and Sejer series and KO Dahl's series is up there with the best.
Can't wait for more.
