At Smarter.com, we aim to ensure we give you the most sound buying advice possible. With our 'Cumulative Product Rating' system, in order for a product to receive a rating score, it must have a minimum number of ratings to qualify.
This system is not intended to diminish the value of products with a low number of ratings and reviews, they're great, and hopefully very helpful, but if you want our advice, we want to make sure that the product you're thinking of buying has been rated and reviewed by enough shoppers like you to be a valuable indicator of product quality.

Worst electronics purchase ever!
Horrible static, regardless of settings. There are only 3 frequencies, so it's not hard to try them all - and they all gave the same horrible results. Completely unusable and I had to return (for a PARTIAL refund!). Hard to charge and hard to find

Wireless headphones
Once set to the right frequency, the product performed great. Vol and Freq controls not easy to find at first. The recharging stand is very hard to line up with the headphones and I eventually broke the copper contact point, rendering the set useless

Hope you like static
Static is horrible, even within a few feet of transmitter. Seriously, it makes these almost unusable. Also, the controls (volumn, tuner) on the ear piece are difficult to find and use. Even though I know they're there somewhere, I usually have to

One word: "HISS"
Constant hiss in the background whether you stand two feet from the base unit or 100 feet. Static every time you move your head. A real disappointment. I returned it.

a good phone for 3 years
I bought the phone and have been very pleased with it for 3 years, but about 3 months ago the 8 stuck, and now I am noticing that 1/2 of the buttons aren't working properly.
PROS: pretty good sound, long battery life
CONS: numbers stick, you have to dial 2-3 times
