Review from a shopper who 'Loved it'
From: Posted: Feb 26, 2009 Type: User Review Concerned about Image Retention and Screen Burn? Read on...

From: Posted: Feb 26, 2009 Type: User Review Phosphor Trails: Scourge of the Plasma

In October, I purchased a Panasonic Viera TH-42PZ85U Plasma Television from Amazon. One of the caveats about owning an HDTV is that it requires quite a bit of time to tweak picture settings in order to ensure that your TV is giving you the best...

Although CNET did not review the 42-inch Panasonic TH-42PZ85U, we did review the 46-inch Panasonic TH-46PZ85U. Judging from their spec sheets, the two Panasonic plasma HDTVs are essentially identical but for screen size, so we expect the picture qual

Pros: Deepest Blacks Cons: none I searched high and low for a replacement for my 42in. SuperScan. I funally settled on a Pioneer. I'm glad I did. I don't know of any other tv that has better blacks, deeper colors or better sound. I believed in the Pi

Review from a shopper who 'Hated it'
From: Reviewed by: Veritas177 Posted: Dec 16, 2008 Type: User Review "Abysmal Customer Service. Refusal to stand behind TV."

Never purchasing a Pioneer product again. Our advice to consumers who are contemplating a Pioneer purchase is to add in the cost of an extended warranty. Or go with a competing brand that values its customers and stands by its products. No custome

PROS: Picture quality is very good. Aesthetics of television body best in class.
CONS: Potential buyers should be forewarned that Pioneer doest stand by its products even days after legal warranty expiration. In our case the power supply failed at a year and a half from purchase and required over $700 in repairs.
