The Holographic Universe
Today nearly everyone is familiar with holograms, three-dimensional images projected into space with the aid of a laser. Now, two of the world's most eminent thinkers -- University of London physicists David Bohm, a former protege of Einstein's and one of the world's most respected quantum physicists, and Stanford neurophysiologist Karl Pribram, one of the architects of our modern understanding of the brain -- believe that the universe itself may be a giant hologram, quite literally a kind of image or construct created, at least in part, by the human mind. This remarkable new way of looking at the universe explains now only many of the unsolved puzzles of physics, but also such mysterious occurrences as telepathy, out-of-body and near death experiences, "lucid" dreams, and even religious and mystical experiences such as feelings of cosmic unity and miraculous healings.

Probable about important matters...
The late Michael Talbot was fascinated by the findings in 1982 at the University of Paris that "under certain circumstances subatomic particles such as electrons are able to instantaneously communicate with each other regardless of the distance separating them. It doesn't matter whether they are...

Physical reality is a hologram
This is an interesting book by an author who passionately believes that existence and physical reality perceived through consciousness is generated by a holographic phenomenon. In other words the holographic universe creates reality. This book is described in three parts; the first part describes...

food for thought
Timeless read for new concept - my teenage daughter found it interesting and broadened her horizon, she is 25 now - a book you can read again and again. Easy to comprehend, not too technical, enough to be educational without being boring.

A Theory of Everything indeed
Michael Talbot's "The Holographic Universe" is one of the best and most meticulously researched books ever written by someone who does not promote his or her own ideas and views (such as a scientist/researcher) but rather puts together current scientific and spiritual thinking as it is....

Almost made it!
This is a great book that gives a clear perspective on the way this 3D realm operates. The author lost me in the significance of UFO paradigms and the holographic universe, so I will go and seek deeper Jungian understanding of this possibility and re-read those sections. Otherwise, a great book!

A short commentary
This book is referenced by David Icke and I purchased it largely because he spoke to it in his many taped dialogues. I regard the book as being current on the new physics and its relationship to the body. We are more than merely 5 senses and we are capable on many levels of being greater than we...

Intriguing new scientific model
I at first was very dubious about reading this book. I study neuroscience, and to think of the brain as a hologram seemed at first insulting to me. But after getting into it, I became more and more fascinated by this idea of a holographic model. Talbot starts off with explaining what a hologram...

This is a most interesting book - And a validation of the power of God
This book totally blew my mind man! What a twisted universe we live in! I once found a piece of plastic that I had lost 4 years prior.. It turned up on the other side of the city man! A place I had never been before! This book substantiates all the uncommon pecularities in my life! I thank...
