Yikes. I don't really trust this information
I find it hard to believe that it really is OK to do half the things this author says are fine during pregnancy. While I admit that many people do err on the side of caution, isn't that the best thing to do when we're just not sure how things can affect a fetus? Rather than allay my fears about...

Excellent book based on numerous scientific studies
Like most women, I had heard a lot of pregnancy advice that wasn't based on scientific facts. If you are someone who wants to make your pregnancy decisions based on science, not on "old wives tales," then this is the book for you. The author of this book (a well-respected and widely published...

Panic-riddled
I'm on my third pregnancy after two miscarriages. I thought, from the title, that this book would reassure me and calm me down regarding my fears about also losing this pregnancy. Instead, it made me even more worried, and the tone is condescending. After a while, I had to return the book to...

Useful information, but sadly lacking...
I thought this book did a pretty good job of separating fact from fiction when it comes to pregnancy concerns. However, I felt that many of the views expressed were a bit cavalier. I also felt that I was being talked "down to" many times, or made to feel foolish for my pregnancy-related fears....

Grossly Inaccurate
I have never felt a need to write a review about a book until now. Being pregnant for the first time, I've been looking for a book about pregnancy. I only read the intro on-line, but I from a few other reviews I see the rest of the book gets worse... all the inaccuracies sound disgustingly...

A relief for a First Timer
This book really helped me to feel less paranoid during early pregnancy. All of the other books I had at home - What to Expect and Your Pregnancy Week by Week - were freaking me out and making me worry about all of the rare and strange complications that can happen. The Panic Free Pregnancy...

Waste of Money and bad information
Perhaps if you became pregnant by accident and know nothing about how your body works and have a Dr. who doesn't give you any information, this book would be helpful. However, as someone who has tried to get pregnant for 9 months and suffered a recent miscarriage, I find this book to be...

If what I have read is true
I cannot believe that somebody would write these things for pregnant women to read. Why on earth would you want to persuade pregnant women that you can basically do whatever you want with your body while you are pregnant and take no extra percautions? It is risking the life of the baby and your...
