Card Type
Type I: 3.3 mm thick and featuring a 16-bit interface, this type of PC card is typically used for memory devices such as SRAM, RAM, OTP and flash memory.Type II: 5.0/5.5 mm thick and featuring a 16 or 32-bit interface, this type of card allows devices to provide connectors to interfaces. Most recently manufactured cards have a retractable jack that can be pushed back into the card to protect it from being damaged.Type III: 10.5 mm thick and featuring a 16 or 32-bit interface, this type of card will work with devices that will not work with a Type 1 or Type 2 card due to hight limitations.
