This is a very nice wireless card. I had a usb mini wireless adapter before. This netgear card gives me a lot better signal and quicker log on to the internet

Beware
I installed this on a newly purchased laptop. This became very very "HOT" and basically burned up my laptops cpu. I am now in hand of a non-working newly purchased laptop uncovered by any warranty.Beware!!

BUYER BEWARE! NO Super-G 108Mbps speeds for Vista
There are serious driver issues with this card when it comes to Vista.1) Netgear's latest driver (v.5.2) does not allow speeds greater than 54Mbps on Vista. The "latest" driver was released back in Novemver 2007. Previous versions dont work either. FYI I am using this card with the Netgear's...

Excellent external card
Very nice external card. Doesn't quite have the range of a standard integrated card, but few mainstream external cards do.The card works out of the box with Windows XP and Ubuntu (the driver utility must be installed first on Windows).
