I purchased the Linksys WPC600N on May 24, 2008, at the time I was looking to upgrade my Toshiba Satellite M35X-S111 laptop to work on my newly set-up wireless home network. In the beginning all went well but after a few weeks I began experiencing h

Works Great!
I really like this adapter. Although I read from this link that some people had problems with theirs, I found mine to work perfectly. I followed the vendor's instructions and loaded the software first, taking some chances. To my surprise the network monitor worked perfectly once loaded....

Doesn't work well with other brand Wireless-N access points
InstallVery simple. CD installs the regular Linksys Wireless Wizard application. I have a Linksys Wireless-G PC Card installed on the same laptop, so I removed the card. After Install I now have 2 wireless wizards, I guess that's OK.IssuesAfter rebooting I connect at 160Mbps to my NETGEAR...

Not impressed, would not recommend
I have been running the WPC600N for a week, and it works okay, but does not remember my security key. Every time I log in, I have to retype the key which is very annoying. My average connection speed is between 5.5 Mbps and 65 Mbps with little rhyme or reason as to why it is faster or slower.I...

WOW!
Wow! I went from a top of 54 MPS to 270 MPS! That is along with the Linksys WRT600 N wireless router. Internet speed test was about 4000 KBS before I used this adapter, now I am hitting 11849 KPS. I love it!
