Radio Flyer Steer and Stroll Deluxe Trike

Perfect for the young trike-rider, this innovative model from Radio Flyer offers some remarkable features that both children and adults are sure to love. The removable, 4-position push handle on the steering wheel enables you to turn the front wheel while your child rides. When she's old enough to steer on her own, you can remove it. The freewheeling pedals allow your child to coast while you push, and the sturdy, tubular steel frame has flip-down foot rests. Also features 10-inch front wheel, durable molded wheels with grip tread, soft removable cargo pack, adjustable seat and ringing bell. Measures approximately 30" x 21.5" x 23".  more

Cheap Crap

We have model #53 (supposedly improved) and WOW is it poorly made. The front wheel fell off while my son was riding it (no injuries -- but, seriously, ?????!). Even after "fixing it" the handle bars wiggle front to back more than 1cm. We consulted an experienced bike tech who admitted to...

Tips over & poor quality!

This tricycle is such a disappointment. It has broken or worn in several areas, for example despite repeated tightenings, the handle bars do not stay true and turn the wheel as they should. It also tips over WAY to easily- just asking for an injury. I would not recommend this to anybody.

Liked it and then stopped liking it

I read the other reviews about not being able to assemble it or parts not working correctly and I haven't had any of those problems. It has worked as advertised for our child so we have like it but now, we are disappointed. Our son has outbrown the need to have a parent steer it for him so we...

Good idea, weak construction

After reading all the reviews we took a chance on this trike for our 17 month old as the steering feature seemed great for Mom and the free moving wheel a good feature. The price was low enough to where it was worth taking a chance despite some of the reviews. Our impressions:-Set up was pretty...

Works for us, good for confidence building

I got this tricycle after my 2 years and 10 months old son refused to ride his Radio Flyer classic tricycle with pushbar. The problems he has with the classic tricycle are: hard to keep himself on the seat (he has hypotonia in his trunk, hard to keep his feet on the pedals (no flywheel so they...

After a "test-drive", we decided not to buy it

My 14 month old son recently had the opportunity to "test-drive" his 25-month old friend's Radio Flyer trike. Though it looks great and my son LOVED riding it (we pried him away from it after 1/2 of riding), we will definitely not buy it; the squeak was AWFUL! Though it's possible the squeak...

No problems!

I read a couple reviews talking about the steering breaking, so I waited six months before I reviewed it. We use this trike about 3-4 times a week and it's stored outside in the elements. We've had no issues at all. Granted, our son's only 2 & weighs 30lbs or so, so a heavier child may cause...

Great first bike

Unlike some other reviewers, my husband and I think this bike is a great first bike for kids. Our son received one from his grandparents when he was 2. We've had no problems with it at all. The pros of the bike include; parent steering, adjustable seat; built in strap for littler ones; a storage...
