Too much audience and band

I think that I also could have enjoyed this dvd more with all the performances by the artists if they showed the artists. Too much showing audience singing (look at Wilbert Harts Delfonics). If I wanted to see that much audience participation at a concert I would have just thrown a house party if...

Old School Party

This is my favorite DVD. All of the Old School Soul DVDs are great.But this one is the best. The band is great The artists are (of course) older, but they still sound great.I purchased it back in September 2006. Believe me you not gonna beat this one.

Old School Rules

This music video collection is awesome and brought back so many memories from back in the day. Back in time when artists actually dressed up on stage and presented themselves in a classy way. No sagging pants, guys holding themselves just walking around the stage like their mad at somebody....

Grown Folks Music

This DVD brings back a lot of good memories from the 60s and 70s.The image and sound quality on the vast majority of the performancesis excellent, although a few are just fair. This is real finger-popping grown folks music, that will have you up singing and dancing after the first 2 minutes ---...

SOUL PARTY INDEED!

My dad had me buy this for him and when I started watching it with him, I was blown away. I didn't realize how many songs I recognized. I in turn was happy that he made me get this because it truly is wonderful. My dad watched it everyday for a week or two! That's how much he loves it.

A Real House Party

I saw this program on PBS late one night. Knowing I had to get up early, I couldn't turn it off. Turn on the surround sound and you've got a real house party. Loved every song, just wished it was longer.

Soul Fun!!

If you love great, old school soul, you'll love this DVD. Sure, the performers are a little older, but they still are smooth!The quality of this DVD is top drawer.
