"Reminiscences" For A New Generation of Traders
For anyone familiar with the vast amount of investment literature out there, I'm sure you've come across a book written in the first half of the twentieth century called "Reminiscences of a Stock Operator." This classic tome is widely considered to be the "Bible" of trading, and it has been...

Listen and learn. Excellent!
I'm having a great time reading Market Wizards by Jack D. Schwager. It ranks right up there as one of the most interesting market books ever written. While each trader has his own peculiarities, there are some interesting common themes. I like to compare my own methods with what these wizards are...

Wizards Q&A
The question and answer format is great. The questions give you pointed perspectives about how the pros view the markets and the answers are always bound to have insights that can't be beat in another format. A massive amount of informtaion in a single source.

Still A Classic
No long statement needed. While this book was originally published in the late 1980s, it is timeless. I am still amazed at the numbers of new traders who have not read 'Market Wizards'.

Defense, Defense, Defense
A very good read with great tips from some all time greats. It was eye opener to read about how much risk control/management and focusing on Defense was the highest priority for many of the great traders. The question/answer style flowed very well and focused on the trading style and results...

Low quality product
This book is everything a book shouldn't be, cheap flimsy see through paper with blurry print. If you are going to buy this book please save your eyes and money and pick up a second hand copy from an earlier printing that you can enjoy reading.

Very Useful
It has been very useful and important reading this book. I think every trader or the one who wants to be it should read this series of interviews. I thought I was the only one who felt and experimented all the pain, doubt and all kind of experiences when trading but I see that even the great...

Inspiration for daytraders
I generally only read textbooks about trading. Statistics, technical analysis, calculus etc. However, this very entertaining collection of interviews may be my favorite and most informative read. The stories give re-assurance that an individual can succeed through their own studies, analysis...

Overall a good read
I am kind of critical to these books. Probably half of the interviews are worthwhile to read. Some trading styles are enlightening. Last chapter is full of BS though. All in all, a good read!

Motivating, Exciting, and Insightful
I have traded off and on over the years from futures contracts, options on stocks and futures, and stocks. I have used technical analysis, fundamental, and both. I have been in and out of the market because of losses, gains, losses, and said chuck it, I will buy ETFs and Mutual Funds. But I...
