How to Build and Benefit from a Passive Solar Collector as a Space Heater
This is the expanded, updated, second edition of the same title, published in 1963. Here is a passive space heater that you must make yourself. It cannot be purchased. It is mounted on the outside wall facing south or west with good sun exposure during winter months. We have measured 150 F heated air coming back into a room. The unit circulates air by convection and does not require electricity or any outside power source to run. We have been using these on our home, the shop, and the barn for over 20 years.
