Bad Purchase

Had a manual press and top flew off each time I pressed out a cookie so upgraded to an electric one. What a mistake. The thing had no power, took forever to reverse and the cookies were teeny. It took me two hours to get little tiny cookies. I'll look for a good quality hand press next time....

weak motor

It takes me over 20 seconds to produce 1 cookie from this, and I used an incredibly soft dough. After being fed up with it, I decided to try something a bit stronger than 4 AA batteries. I rigged up the cookie press with a 9v battery. This didn't really make any difference. The motor is just too...

Put your earplugs in!

This thing is the pits! I was so excited because my neighbor found this for me after my regular Wilton cookie press broke after only 2 trays of trees...I must be cursed! Well this made a horrible noise from the start as it slllllloooowwwwlllly wound the plunger up, and then even more of one when...

It doesn't work

All those reviews here that say this cookie press doesn't work because it doesn't have enough power? They are true. To avoid hours of frustration and wasted effort, avoid this product!!

Once you get the groove, it's easy!

Spritz cookies are a requirement for Christmas in my husband's family. I'm not talking a batch or two... I typically make 8 batches of spritz and each batch is 3 half sheet pans full. For years I ached and cursed and grumbled my way through cookie making and wished for an easier way. A few...

I thought I was the only one

I also went through several of these cookie presses thinking it had to be a mistake because Wilton products are usually pretty good. I had the same problem where I could not get the dough to be pushed hard enough onto the cookie sheet. I also had one that the button funtions were switch, the...

poor design/engineering

I had great difficulty using this product, even with fresh batteries. The entire time it made a very unpleasant screeching sound, like fingernails on a chalkboard. It was bulky to hold. Unlike manual presses that release a predetermined amount of dough with every click, you decide when to let go...

Worthless battery guzzling junk!

Got this just before Christmas because my original Wilton was lost in a move. I was so excited to think of making cookies in less time. Turns out that I spent more time trying to get the thing working and once I did ran out of battery power before getting half way through one batch. Finally ended...

Not As Easy As Promised

This is the third Wilton cookie press I have bought. A lesser one cracked on me and I lost an important piece from the one I bought to replace it. I bought this one with high hopes, only to be disappointed. I agree with the first two semi-negative reviews - it was not easy to use, and took me...

Spritz cookies

I received this cookie press a few years ago as a gift but hadn't gotten around to using it until this Christmas. Since it was my first time using it I decided to use the recipe for spritz cookies that comes in the package. I got the thing all cleaned up and put in brand new batteries. Then...
