Had a manual press and top flew off each time I pressed out a cookie so upgraded to an electric one. What a mistake. The thing had no power, took forever to reverse and the cookies were teeny. It took me two hours to get little tiny...

It takes me over 20 seconds to produce 1 cookie from this, and I used an incredibly soft dough. After being fed up with it, I decided to try something a bit stronger than 4 AA batteries. I rigged up the cookie press with a 9v battery....

All those reviews here that say this cookie press doesn't work because it doesn't have enough power? They are true. To avoid hours of frustration and wasted effort, avoid this product!!

If you use the cookie recipes included, and hold the press to the nonstick sheet covering the cookie sheet for 5 seconds, it works fine. My biggest complaint it that you have to keep the box (it's huge!) to remember what each disc will...
