Belkin Desktop Wireless Network adapter - F5D7001

The Belkin High-Speed Mode (HSM) Wireless G Desktop Network Card connects your desktop computer to your wireless network. With a Belkin High-Speed Mode Wireless G Router as the central connection point of your network, your computers can share your high-speed Internet connection as well as files, printers, and hard drives.By achieving networking speeds that are faster than standard 802.11g, the High-Speed Mode (HSM) Wireless G Desktop Network Card provides increased "real world" networking speeds. This means you will see overall speed improvements in "mixed mode" networking environments where other 802.11g devices may be present. High-Speed Mode offers even faster speeds in pure HSM networking environments. HSM technology is interoperable with all other wireless devices.  more

Fantastic!!

I bought this product based on the previous reviews and can not be happier. I have an Air Port Express on the other side of the house and this Belkin Wireless Card (F5D7001)was able to find it immediately. I installed it myself (very, very easy to do) on my old 2002 Power Mac running 10.4.11....

Great for an aging Mac

Success! I picked this up just the other day for my 2002 Mac G4 dual processor "Quicksilver" tower (running Tiger). Officially, only the old-school Apple Airport card should work on my machine, but after reading the several reviews from fellow Quicksilver owners praising this item for it's covert...

"Awful! Never buy from Belkin! Ever!"

I bought it because it was cheaper than the equivalent from Linksys. The software is horrible. If you make a mistake you must open your pc remove it and start over instead of simply reinstalling the software. After about a month of use the antenna br

Belkin+Mac

I installed it into a Rev A. PowerMac G5 without a hitch. As soon as I installed Tiger 10.4 (the original release version from the 1st DVD, without updates) the Airport assistant started right up on 1st boot and allowed me to join my wireless network. Got it for 50 or so at Wal-Mart. I put the...

The box design on this site is old. The new box design has green bar instead of red as you seen here. I got mine from Walmart for $50. They also have the $35 one but it may not be Mac compatible because it doesn't say broadcom under the trademark. The $35 version (Part # F5D7000), with red bar...

Do not install the utility

I followed the installation instructions as written and could not get this device to work. In the end, I had to uninstall the configuration utility and just load the driver. After letting XP handle the wireless management, I was able to get this to work without hassle. For the price, I'm...

Belkin Wireless G Desktop Network Card is a MISS!

I bought my Belkin Wireless G Desktop Network Card at Wal-Mart for $35.00 about three months ago. What a mistake! The card keeps shutting off no matter what I do. The only way that I can get it to work (for awhile) is to literally "play around" with the buttons on the splash screen until it...

"100% Mac OS X 10.4.4 Tiger Compatible!"

I tried another product before this to work with my Quicksilver G4 tower. I recently upgraded to the Airport Express and needed a wireless solution for the G4. I wasn't sure if anything would work with this other than the original Airport card (which
