PROS: For a home office it does everything pretty well. I've had it for 14 months and am generally pleased with it. In general it offers a lot of features for a very reasobale price.

CONS: 1. Scan files won't go directly onto a hard drive; a memory device is needed. 2. HP software had issues with Vista, so tech support had me install a drive from a different product which worked; with XP both versions work fine.

Prices are all over the place on this multifunction. Locally, from $170 to $299, all within a 1 mile circle! So be sure to check the Big Box clubs before you pay a lot of extra money.
