PROS: I love the duplex-printing. Going to school and having to print out documents makes this function really slick.

CONS: In this day and age, selling a printer that cannot be networked in any way - i.e, sharing over a peer-to-peer - seems stunning and ridiculous - especially for a printer that's being marketed for small groups/businesses.

PROS: Easy to use. Scan quality to me is perfect for my secretary's eyes. Very useful easy to use machine.
CONS: My recommendation: LEAVE THE INK CARTRIDGES RUNNING AND IN USE UNTIL you get more print jobs done. I'veticed my error messages showing to replace the ink cartridges as much as one month before they actually run out. LARGE machine.

PROS: Scans relatively quickly, decent quality, "just works" no problem, rarely jams. Easy to refill the ink cartridges.
CONS: Won't scan unless ink cartridges are installed. Cartridges are small, don't last long. After re-filling, computer will no longer tell you when a color is getting low. CL-41 cartridges are only half-full for 80% cost of full CL-51 cartridges!

My father bought this printer and it only lasted a few short runs. 8.5x11 paper constantly jams in the feeder. Stay away from this one - it doesn't seem to be good for regular use at home.

I really like this printer, I leave it on fast mode all the time and the quality is good enough for printing school assignments. It prints quickly, I've never had a paper jam, and when doing manual duplexing it hardly ever sucks up two papers at once

PROS: the flatbed scnner. Scanning quality is great.
CONS: Ink is expensive, but I just found out I can order it online cheaper than buying it in the store.

Good printer for the price if you are only using a windows operating system, if you decide to use Linux or both, you will not be able to use all the functions with Linux.

Printer hooked up easily with my MacBook Pro. Also, works perfectly with my airport which was important. Quality leaves a lot to be desired, but for the price of shipping vs. what we paid for the printer, it wouldn't be economical to return it....
