Rather than a shin high, racing influenced boot, this lower cut boot is more like a protective high-top shoe for the rider who wants safety as well as street rather than track styling. The Flat 2 features maximum stability thanks to the 360 degree ankle protection cockpit which combines TPU molds and inner foam inserts to provide improved stability as well as lateral impact protection. TPU inserts are featured at a lateral ankle level as well as a forefoot toe box insert for additional protection. The outsole of the boot is made from abrasion resistant anti-slip rubber with a TPU and titanium slider - features derived from the 1000 boot. The upper of this item is made from durable, abrasion resistant leather with special water repellant treatment, a rubber gear shifter insert, inserted 3D moulded nylon ankle protectors between the upper and lower forms of the boot and a rubber shin plate to protect against an impact.
