"you like it ? i love it!!!!"
i own a dv4000. i'v had it for 3 years and it still what i do most of my work on. i own a dell desk-top but i tend to use the dv4000 more then the other. it great for music and photo's the speed in just too good to belive. in short it the best invest

"Only flaw was the cover cracking, but easily resolved!"
I have had this laptop for nearly 2 years and I absolutely love it! I originally got this as an alternative to a desktop computer, so I was looking for a bigger, but still compact, laptop. It took a little while for me to find a nice bag to carry it
PROS: Good "portable desktop computer", great service from HP
CONS: Cover cracking at the hinges, videocard not the best but enough for gaming.

I purchased this in April of 2006 and it worked very well - I fortunately also purchased the special warranty for 2 years - if you drop it, throw it, etc. - because a maintenance person (instead of moving the computer out of the way (I wasn't home)ha

"dont waste your money in this laptop"
i bougth this 9 months ago and i totally regret, the lack of memory and battery life add blank screen whitout reason and every time that use internet the internal wireless turn off so to many BAD things.

"keyboard failed in one year"
In less than one year, cursor began jumping all over the screen during typing. Impossible to type more than 2 words without cursor jumping to another spot in the text. Tried all "fixes" from HP & none worked. Warranty just expired right before prob

"The best computer I have ever used"
I love this computer; it responds much more quickly then Dell's and is light enough for me to take wherever I need to, and heavy duty enough to take the place of a desktop. Also, 4 USB ports really help me attach all my periphials.
PROS: Nice keyboard, large screen, a powerful wireless adapter, and several ports
