No problems with this modem so far. I've had it for over a year and a half. Reasonably cheap and reliable. I kept mine cool with a fan, as it gets hot in Phoenix. Again, no issues or complaints.

Come on guys. you know as well as we do, most cable vendors require you to use their equipment. Usually this is a broken down version of last decade technology, and no features but a single eithernet port to pump your entire network data in and out.
