This is a good product. What I don't understand though, is why a switch is not included within the product. The device is a bit expensive but then all the DOCSIS devices seem to be expensive.

The Mac Pro ships sans internal modem, so in order for the Mac Pro user to send faxes he must set up a separate, external unit for that purpose. The Zoom Model 2986C fills the bill.
