Panasonic Palmcorder PV-GS80 Ultra-Compact Digital

From: $149.99

Panasonic PV-GS80 Ultra-Compact Mini DV Camcorder Panasonic P VG S 80 UltraCompact Mini D V Camcorder The Panasonic PV-GS80 is an ultra-compact Digital Video camcorder that offers precise image quality and color accuracy. The superior quality of digital video yields higher horizontal resolution, sharper picture detail and component color sampling, which preserves more color information than analog. The PV-GS80 has made the popular Mini-DV camcorder line even more user friendly. The 32x optical zoom lets you zoom in on items that are barely discernable to the naked eye without losing any image quality like you would with digital zoom. The integrated Optical Image Stabilizer, or O.I.S., detects even the slightest amount of shaking, and adjusts the lenses accordingly, to keep the image crisp and clear. Unlike a digital image stabilizing system, O.I.S. counteracts the shaking before the image enters the CCD; this allows the CCD to be used to process a virtually unmarred image. At Smarter.com, we aim to ensure we give you the most sound buying advice possible. With our 'Cumulative Product Rating' system, in order for a product to receive a rating score, it must have a minimum number of ratings to qualify.

This system is not intended to diminish the value of products with a low number of ratings and reviews, they're great, and hopefully very helpful, but if you want our advice, we want to make sure that the product you're thinking of buying has been rated and reviewed by enough shoppers like you to be a valuable indicator of product quality.

My wife got this cam as a gift a few months back from her office. Just like the reviews from the video, it???s a low budget cam. It does what you need it to but there are way better higher quality cams out there. Since we got it, I have not been a

We bought one of these at Best Buy on sale for $200.00. Despite the less than favorable Cnet review, I believe it's a good camcorder for the money. It has a good picture and it's not complicated. I'd recommend it for anyone looking for a decent camco

The Panasonic PV-GS 80 is a very good camcorder for its price tag (entry level). The picture is very good, good color reproduction, even in low-light situations. I also like the lens which reaches wide-angle, hardly seen in this price level. And it h
