Spyder Men's Outturn GORE-TEX Pant

The trouble with most freestyle/freeride pants is that the stuff is made for snowboarders--and that's a bummer if you're just looking for a tough, waterproof pant with a little more ski functionality and a lot less padding in the seat. That's why Spyder designed this GORE-TEX Outturn Shell Pant. It's an ideal shell pant for expert skiers who want ski-functionality with the same sort of rugged reinforcement found on the snowboarding outerwear. The Outturn GORE-TEX Pant is part of Spyder's new Freeryde Collection, a line of outerwear developed for extreme skiers and avid freestylers who tend to push the boundaries of human performance and fabric durability. Spyder used a new rugged GORE-TEX Performance Shell material with slightly sanded polyester weave fabric in key places. The outer fabric keeps this shell pant dry on the inside without fraying and tearing through seasons of abuse. Just to be sure about that, Spyder added some polyester oxford weave reinforcement along the cuffs. The GORE-TEX Outturn Shell Pant has waterproof thigh ventilation zippers that add a lot of extra comfort on long hikes to back bowls and sunny day excursions.
