Keep in mlnd that whatever ram you buy, you need to buy two. Dell does not make it obvious to the buyer that you need to install them in pairs.

PROS: Simple to install, added 2 GB to the existing 1GB of ram. Just make sure you install the higher ram in slots 1 and 2.
CONS: After adding another 2GB of ram to my existing 1GB I was expecting to at least see some performance difference. I could not see any noticable change in performance at all no matter what application I put the pc through.

PROS: The computer is running a lot faster since adding an additional 512 MB. It made a 5 year old computer run as fast as my new one! The memory came in just a few short days. No Complaints! Easy to install.

It is compatible with Averatec AV 3270-EH1 and a Gateway 400 VTX. I used it in combination with a 512 kB PC 2100 DDR-SODIMM and everything was fine. I highly recommend this type of memory for it's performance.

PROS: I am thrilled with the ease in which I was able to install my memory upgrade. Instructions were understandable and very easy to follow. My Dell system is still great.
CONS: The $100 cost for a 512 upgrade (while worth the increased speed) was a little steep. However, I wanted to make sure that I got the right memory and chose Dell instead of any other vendor.

PROS: This 2GB Stick of Memory Is a Great . I have two of these 2GB sticks in my M1210 and it is really great. I have noticed not a huge speed, but enought to make me glad I got it. I do video editing and the Adobe aps do enjoy using the memory:) I started work

PROS: Allows multiple applications to run simutaneously at a reasonable price.
CONS: At this time, only comes in 256 or 512 configurations which makes upgrading Dell E520 to anything higher than 2GB virtually impossible since the pc only has 4 memory slots.
