The reader works fine with other than HP products, which is a plus. Vista regonized it right off. Can be mounted in either a 5 1/4 bay or a 3.5 bay. Another plus, if your motherboard doesn't have the USB pin header, a PCI card is uncluded.

Too Many New Drives
Product couldn't have installed any easier on XP, no drivers to mess with, just plug in the card, route the cord, and bolt down the reader frame. installed fairly easily - I chose this product so I would be certain I had the appropriate USB headers - I wasn't entirely sure since I find the...

great upgrade for old pc
I wanted to be able to download my digital camera pictures. Rather than buy a new pc I figured I would try out this add-on for mine. I have an older (2001) Dell with windows XP... just plugged it in and XP did the rest. I never took the installation CD out of its package. I've had it for 2 weeks...

Waste of Money
Installed, worked for a few days and then each drive stopped working (one at a time). First to go was the USB drive. Not worth your time and money
