This mattress cover is made by Sealy, according to the tag attached. It is more of a mattress cover than a mattress pad, as discovered by other users. If you get it, you will probably want to put a "regular" padded mattress pad over it. Even with this, it was warm to sleep on but not as bad as...

It seem well made and it fits my 14 inch thick mattress well, much better than my last mattress pad that didn't reach the bottom edge of the mattress. I don't know how well it will protect the mattress from stains, I have not spilled anything on it yet.

Excellent mattress cover,

This is the same cover I paid $80.00 for at a local mattress company. I love it, its really nice. Its very thin and doesn't feel weird when you sleep on it. You don't even know its there. Thanks!!!

water proof matress pad,

difficult to wash as the water proofing hold the water. I hang out my laundry and it was difficult to hang because of the stretch sides. I have not used this yet. I hope it is not hot in the summer.
