The Great Formula: for Creating Maximum Profit with Minimal Effort
Praise for THE GREAT FORMULA "This book reminds me of Isaac Newton's discovery of gravity-a stunningly simple idea that changed the course of history. I've seen The Great Formula create millionaires with surprising speed. It's an exact recipe to turn a marginal business into a successful one." "Mark Joyner has once again succeeded at coming up with an entertaining and educational marketing masterpiece." "With all the fancy buzzwords used to describe how to achieve success, here is a commonsense formula that cuts through the chatter and goes straight to the heart of what really works. This is truly a new perspective." "Save yourself a couple hundred thousand dollars on that degree. Clear out your bookcase. The MBA curriculum for this generation is The Irresistible Offer and The Great Formula."

Save Your Money
[...]The book, (I got the audiobook) in my humble opinion, was a lot of fluff. (It was a long time ago that I listened, it is not 100% fresh in my mind)[...]It was lots of stories strung together and no information about marketing technique, no nitty gritty, no method. It was a clever marketers...

It's okay
I wanted to like this book a lot more than I did, but in the end, it's just another internet information marketing book. If you read Dan Kennedy, Joe Vitale and others like them, you won't find anything new here. As a matter of fact, Joe Vitale is in this book.

Excellent and Easy to Apply.
This book states the obvious: 1. Create an Irresistible Offer, 2. Present it to a Thirsty Crowd, 3. Sell them a Second Glass. This last step is known in many circles as an upsell. I had used it a little in my own businesses, but upon finishing the book, I had to ask myself why I wasn't using it...

This book was ok.
This book was ok. Worth the read and the time it took. But a ton of contributing authors. Not sure if I really like that or not, but it has some valuable lessons/reminders of the obvious. But it's easy to miss the obvious.

Joyner is the Mad Scientist
One part chemistry, one part marketing and one part humor, Mark Joyner is the mad scientist who puts it all together in a must-read handbook for selling more of absolutely anything! The book is a quick read, but that doesn't mean it isn't meaty. On the contrary, Mark doesn't write fluff, but...

WARNING: "The Irresistible offer" and "The Great Formula"...
WARNING: "The Irresistible offer" and "The Great Formula" are the same book in different words. My guess is a business move to milk more money out of the same cow by changing its name and painting it's patches on in a different pattern. Buy one, not both... your welcome ;-)
