When I was growing up, my parents didn't have any kind of matching furniture. I would go over to my friends' homes and they would have matching sofas, loveseats, end tables, lamps that created a picture-perfect room.I was envious of these people who didn't have a hodgepodge of furniture and dreamed that when I became an adult that I would own my own matching furniture set.
