Picture went out after only 7-8 months of use

Received TV from Crutchfield (through EGL) on 2/06/08 and picture went out (completely) on 9/20/08; picture would go black for about a second during the last month or so. Sony gives 2 options: (1) have a local repair person come to your home (Sony pr

Expensive but worth it

We don't have blu-ray or HD. We use an upsampling DVD player (sony $99) with this TV and have been very pleased with its performance. Images are crisp and the color is excellent.

Good TV

Very good picture and sound qualities. Set up was easy. I got Eagle/Ceva flight service. Their delivery times were not very flexiable. They were available in the mornings and on the weekdays only, so I had to take some times off from work which w

Outstanding Picture and Sound

I've had this TV for almost 8 months and am as happy with it as I was the day it was set up. The picture is wonderful and the sound very pleasing. There is no pixelating from fast image movement. The frame is brushed metal and narrow enough that the set doesn't stick out. Very beautiful. I...

great for HD

If you do not use a HDMI/HD 1080p DVD player, it doesn't look crisp. Regular dishnetwork receiver looks okay but not clear like HD. HD is recommended with it's use so it looks similiar as it did in the showroom.

Solid TV- Don't Hesitate

Instead of droning on and on about how similar the features are to the XBR (minus the motion flow. which I probably wouldn't even notice) let me just get to the bottom line. Amazon was hands down, THE VERY BEST deal I found anywhere. Not only was the TV $300-$400 cheaper than it was anywhere else...

Excellent TV, Great price

This TV has a great picture- with no visible "stutter" that the 120 Hz crowd speaks of- and coming from a guy who loves racing and college basketball, this TV has a stunning picture. The W series "brushed metal" cabinet looks good, and my only detrac

poor viewing angle

I bought this tv about 3 days ago, and it is going back. The picture from 85 to 95 degrees is terrific, blacks levels are great. But then when I moved out side of this ideal viewing angle, the contrast and color saturation dropped swiftly and considerably. Unless you want to subject your...
