The $935 (as of April 22, 2009) Samsung LN37A550 is a good choice for someone seeking an adequate, not-too-expensive 37-inch HDTV that requires minimal setup. The input connections are easy to get to, the on-screen menus are well designed and helpful

this t.v. broke within 2 weeks and have to wait for a week before it was fixed. The repairman said the big board is not working and have to change the board. Waited for three days for the board to come. We thought samsung is supposed to be good....

The Samsung LN40A650 is the smallest of the 3 TVs in the A650 family. Its size doesn't mean it won't pack a heavy punch. Armed with half a dozen great features, it'll make sure you're glued in front of the tube for as long as possible.

PROS: Easy setup. Picture is awesome. Very smooth on sports. The picture in picture has a couple of different arrangements, including side by side which is great for those fall Sunday afternoons :).
CONS: Sound is not very rich. I don't know if this is the case with all LCD's since they don't really have room for sub woofers, but it sounds a bit hollow. However, I have mine set up through my surround sound system so this is not a problem.

Love the picture and would buy it again IF I was using it with an AV receiver. As a bedroom set (how I use it now) I would not recommend this. It's just not acceptable as anything more than a display.

PROS: Has quite simply one of the best pictures I could find. Even with SD sources over Dish this looks really good. While some of the options in adjusting the picture seem redundant, it was relatively simple to set up just the way I wanted.
