PROS: Rich Blacks, Uniform beautiful colour, Exquisite design, great speakers, Good price, Excellent performance.

The TV is very nice - I got it for my 18 year old daughter for Christmas. She uses it to play music channels and games on the XBox 360. The sound quality is ok, but becomes degraded when it's turned up louder.

PROS: I have had this unit for over 1 year, with no real problems. We have Verizon FIOS and the picture quality is outstanding in HD. The SD channels are a bit fuzzy, but I understand that is common with HDTV's
CONS: Sometimes I have trouble with the sound being fuzzyy

Don't buy Sharp LCDs. Stick with Samsung or Panasonic. Seems Sharp's LCD products break down, conveniently for them, after the customer warranty expires so that it forces you to buy a replacement part or new TV in general. What a waste of my time and

Just purchased this unit and have a blown pixel. I don't know if it came out of the box this way or if it just occured after 3 weeks of usage. In anycase, I looked this up on google and it seems to be a not so uncommon problem with some SHARP...

PROS: The Sharp LC-32D43U reproduces a deep shade of black; relatively accurate color temperature preset; decent backlight uniformity and off-angle viewing; sleek styling; ample connectivity with two HDMI and one PC input.
CONS: Expensive compared to bargain models; subpar standard-def video processing; fewer picture adjustments than many LCDs; can't change aspect ratios with HD sources.
