PROS: The monitor was very reasonable. Picture quality is decent for the price.
CONS: I bought 2 of these monitors about 2 years ago from separate places and within a space of 10 days they both have failed. All support can say is send it in for out-of-warranty repair.

PROS: Nice fit and finish Screen refresh rate is great
CONS: 1600 x 1200 is the absolute minimum for a screen of this size. With a dot pitch of 0.27, the Planar is the grainest monitor available. Price: very high

This monitor is bright, but the image is somewhat fuzzy. The built-in speaker is very tinny. I sent it back primarily because of the fuzzy problem since I had external speakers that sounded much better.

No problems with this unit except that I couldn't use the existing controls to precisely center the image. It has an auto-centering feature as a push button, but it does not center it well enough for me. It was still worth the ~$200 I spent for it.
