PROS: Great weight, plus superior 9-10 battery life with extended battery - A MUST HAVE! It is the same size and weight as an older slate tablet I had for years. Topped out with 4GB RAM, 250GB HDDand a built-in WWAN. This rocks!
CONS: The only downside is the lack of a glide-point mouse, it has that IBM stickpoint which is good enough for most. Heck, I use the pen on a tether and the Tablet PC controls as my mouse anyway. It works fine.

Convertible tablets are and will remain specialized products that cater to a certain group of people. They have the benefit of having both keyboard and a pen as input devices, with the latter being used in sales, design, and the healthcare industry.

PROS: Capacitive touch panel. Support Multi-touch. Digitized pen is an excellent tool. Soft keyboard. Powerful and energy-efficient processor. Optical drive can be swapped out for an additional battery or hard drive. Mobile Broadband available. Tons of security
CONS: Clunky design. Tablets are still pricey instruments. Battery life is below average on a single battery. 80GB hard drive is more meager than those found in netbooks.
