Excellent desktop replacement. This laptop has all the features of a desktop, including the numeric key pad. It is not light, but the large screen is pleasant to look at, and the computer has no problems - unlike other laptops I have owned.

PROS: -Very light & thin. -Bright screen. -Excellent battery life. -Windows 7 Upgrade. -Price. -DVD Burner included. -Quiet & cool on your lap...unlike previous laptops I have owned.
CONS: -Bloatware. Too much ACER crapware. It is all removable, but takes 1-2 hours. -Supposed to be able to burn backup DVD's, but keep failing...don't care too much because a clean Windows 7 install is on its way.

PROS: The Acer seems to offer a lot to the consumer - good looks, nice specs, light weight and battery life.
CONS: The performance of the Pentium chip is really weak. I will echo the comments of a previous post in that the computer is hardly able to handle more than one function at a time without freezing up.

PROS: Nice size, great appearance, not too much bloatware, good performance, good battery life.
CONS: Extended battery adds weight but lasts long. This battery also prevents use of the fabric case. Ripoff is the "stick" AC adapter. Very heavy and inconvenient. And the large part of the adapter must rest on the desk.

PROS: The Best battery life of netbooks at least when i bought it i did some tweeks to the Services.msc runs great i use firefox but changed to google chrome for this it runs faster less and you see more of the web page, use avira antivirus, GREAT NETBOOK
CONS: The only con The SPEAKERS they are almost inaudible but who uses the speakers on a Laptop anyway i always use headphones noise canceling and if i wanna hear music i hook it up to the home theater i also own a sony AA battery portable speaker if any
