PROS: This would be a pretty good computer if the LCD screen weren't worthless for reading, the noisy fan wasn't always on and the computer wasn't very hot, other than those critical problems that make it unusable, it's great.
CONS: LCD screen is a horrible matte finish, it sparkles and distorts colors and fine lines, causes a dithering sparkle, it's the worst matte finish I've seen on a screen ever. Fan is always on and very noisy, computer too hot for putting on lap.

The HP TouchSmart tx2z stands alone as a rare example of a consumer-focused convertible tablet PC. We're not sure if this is because non-business-related laptop users don't see the value of a touch-screen tablet, but hopefully they'll catch on soon.
