- "horrible, to slow, inefficient"
The computer has its USB ports stacked on top of each other making it inefficient because of possible things that are different sizes. USB port location is also bad. Battery life is average. Incompletely horrible.

For a used computer, corporate computers rarely disappoint. Go for an IBM. I bought this computer 3 years after its mfg. date and it works great for me.

Bought mine on Ebay after using an ancient Toshiba ( 4G harddrive, lol) for too long. As soon as I snapped in an Ethernet cable I was zooming. Compared to what I was used to, the T40 loads and plays GoogleVideo, YouTube, etc. lickity...

it seems that "Igotone" from several posts ago must have gotten my laptop because I've been waiting for nearly 6 weeks now for my T40. (1.6, 80gb). Order at your own risk, especially if you need a laptop soon. I was also told 2-4 weeks...
