i have seen peter pan played by an adult woman (mary martin). also played by an adult man (robin williams). in the awful "hook" version.peter pan was a "boy". (all boys grow up, except one) so they finally got that right. and...

Great movie! My 4 year old son loves pirates and we already owned the Walt Disney movie but he really prefers this movie version. It has real kids and makes it more real to him. I also enjoyed the movie.

I bought this because there is a scene cut out of the UK version. Peter is very lucky because he can fly about all day.I tested the DVD and it works just the same as the UK one and there is an extra scene which you don't see in the UK...

- Visually Interesting, but....
Peter Pan as a woman or as an English kid doesn't seem to come off very well. I think an American kid could pull it off, and an Irish kid should, but here a dynamic just seems to be off by having Pan speak the Queen's english like Wendy...

- Shoulda been called Jason Isaacs: The Movie
It was lame. It was stupid. Jeremy Sumpter was terrible. The child nudity was unnecessary. The only time I enjoyed myself was when Jason Isaacs was on screen. He was the best thing about the movie. And there were plenty of awesome one...
