I bought an Everlast leather jump rope about 17 years ago and STILL have it. I keep it in my garage where it has been exposed to a lot of heat and cold and have done virtually NO maintenance to the thing- and it continues to works great!...

Used the jump rope maybe 3-4 times and the handle broke off, you would expect a quality jump rope for the price but don't count on it. Then again it could have just been mine.
