DMB more than just a jam band. CD worth every pennny.
I would like to state that I am a Dave Matthews fan and own all of his albums. Crash is hands down not only my favorite DMB album but on my top list of all cds (I own over a 1000 cds). The DMB is known as a touring band that can take any song and turn it into a 10 minute jam. Most of the crowd...

An extremely consistent and warmly engaging album
4 1/2This certainly must be as worthwhile a DMB album as any other they have come out with. It is one that, in retrospect especially, you get the feeling the creative effortlessness which guided all twelve of these unique afro-pop-rock-jazz fusion treats and framed all of them in such a warmth...

So Many Memories
When I was three years old, my family lived in Kentucky, and times were a little rough. My mother was training to be a guidance counsler. My dad was shifting between janitor at a local high school and earning his Ph. D. at Siminary. I saw my dad all day, and my mom all night. Every day before he...

The Downward spiral starts here...
Dave Matthews, for the most part, I like. However though, it really seems that DMB just slowly deterioated into crap. Just listen to Everyday, and even worse, Stand Up really got some bad reviews. Too be fair, I haven't heard Stand Up, but just looking at the reviews from actual DMB fans, it...

"Crash" was definatly not a crash...as far as sophmore albums go
Despite the fact that I am writing an online review for a DMB album that isn't their best, I am still writing this to show that "Crash" is definatly "one of their best". When Dave Matthews first started this band in the very early 90's, he noted that he did not know how successful DMB would be....

A Luscious, Brilliant Album........
CRASH by the Dave Matthew Band is just amazing. I can't believe I waited so long to buy this. How would I describe this album in one word? STUNNING. I mean, between the seamless percussion and sensuous vocals, this album has you at the opening bars of "So Much To Say" (track #1) and doesn't...

Dave sinks his claws in deep with this one...
The great thing about Dave Matthews is that he is a far cry from your average generic run of the mill musician. Dave is truly a talented soul, a lover of everything that is music, and it shows in any number of songs that he puts out. `Crash' is probably one of his most well known albums, the...

So Much to Say
There's also much to hear and feel when you give the Dave Matthews Band's sophomore effort a spin. Ten years later, this CD still holds up and is now a mid-90's classic. The many tones and moods within the songs will tease the senses whether it's a rock gem like "Drive In, Drive Out," or the...
