Buy five Mp3 players for the same price instead.
PROS: Small
CONS: vastly overpriced. Broke after 4 months. Now use an Isdigo 0.5GB from Argos at 9.95. Just as good and takes AAA batteries so do not require a computer to recharge.

Review of Apple iPod
Over-rated. Apple has great sales department and advertising. Unstable machine, not good service. Case scratches too easily even when kept protected.
PROS: Looks good. Easy to used the dial on front.
CONS: Unstable. Always stopped working when long way from home. Had it replaced 3 times until the warranty ran out. Sold it and bought creative. More stable. Apple sold me a warranty and then would not stand by it.

If you're more in to aesthetics than sound quality this is the machine for you!
PROS: Looks great, feels great and amazing picture quality.
CONS: Having previously had a 40GB iRiver h140, the sound quality was bitterly disappointing. In fact it was so bad I have gone back to my old machine and sold the iPod! All music was distorted even at very low listening levels!

When it was working I could not really complain. The only annoying thing was that I had a lot of hassle with their software and some songs were louder then the other so I have to keep changing the volume, that was very inconvenient when I was on the
PROS: Can store a lot of music and other information. Handy when you go abroad.
CONS: Battery died after 1.5 years. To replace it Apple said I have to pay them ??166. Inconvenient to load music to it. You could not just drag and drop a folder to it, you have to put it into their software first. Requires a 3 additional software to have be i

80 gig IPOD
this is my second IPOD. I filled the 30 gig and still needed more room. The 80 gig fits the bill and even after downloading quite a few TV shows I still have a lot of room.
PROS: holds a ton of music
CONS: a bit pricy

Slightly better than the last gen
I love the larger capacity which for now works well with videos. The software still leaves a lot to be desired but overall is a good product for what it does. I wish they would launch the larger capacity units in more colors. Nothing too crazy, maybe
