Complete Krav Maga: The Ultimate Guide to Over 200 Self-Defense and Combative Techniques
All the moves are described in depth from beginning Yellow Belt to advanced Black Belt, yet they are easy to learn because one of Krav Maga's strengths is its simplicity. Based on the principle that it is best to move from defense to attack as quickly as possible, Complete Krav Maga offers fast-escape maneuvers from attacks and holds. It then follows them up with specific counterattacks, including punches, kicks and throws.
The authors show how anyone (big or small, man or woman) can practice self defense by using Krav Maga to protect weak spots, exploit an assailant's vulnerabilities and turn the attacker’s force against him. Complete Krav Maga teaches the reader how to get in shape, gain confidence and feel safer and more secure every day.
At Smarter.com, we aim to ensure we give you the most sound buying advice possible. With our 'Cumulative Product Rating' system, in order for a product to receive a rating score, it must have a minimum number of ratings to qualify.
This system is not intended to diminish the value of products with a low number of ratings and reviews, they're great, and hopefully very helpful, but if you want our advice, we want to make sure that the product you're thinking of buying has been rated and reviewed by enough shoppers like you to be a valuable indicator of product quality.

mediocre at best, dangerous at worst
This is just another text in the continuing propaganda machine for this brand of "Krav Maga" (which is a generic term in Israeli CQB, not really a system), commercialized by self promoted experts, with little or non battlefield experience.

This Book is a Supplement!
This book is a great supplement to the actual training. As I think anyone who seriously studies a fighting discipline knows, you will never learn it from a book. That said, if you are training in Krav, this book offers a great review and breakdown...

A poor example of a great fighting system
As a police officer and former Marine, I know your life may depend on your CQC skills and this book does not do Krav Maga justice. This book is a poor overreach at explaining what I have seen to be an extremely effective fighting system. From...

Self defense (SD) covers a number of attributes: awareness, avoidance, deescalation, strategy, tactics, techniques, witness building, speaking to law enforcement and the legal system, torts, ad nauseum. This book on Krav Maga doesn't attempt to...

Great overview for those interested in KM
This is written for those who are just getting interested in Krav Maga and it does its job perfectly. I was contemplating joining a local KM class but wanted to see what techniques the training would entail.

I really enjoyed the book. The progression of the book is done really well. It takes the reader from the basics to advanced moves very easily. Although it helps if the reader has had some fighting expreience, I have been practicing Martial Arts...

Very Detailed
Excellent book. Lots of great pictures. Shows the curriculum for every level up to brown. Even covers ground fighting for the street. A great introduction into what Krav Maga is.

Not as good as you may think
First than nothing, Krav Maga divided in different groups (some legal issues with the name). Some of the branches upgraded better than others did. The system showed in this book is a little outdated; especially in knife defense. I could bet...
