The great elusive King era

Mostly blues, all great, small band, solo. It does include the mega-hit "Tomorrow Night" but it concentrates on deep blues. The sound is good, too. You will want more of this King Records-era Lonnie. Good luck!

Only one of his King hits included- What a shame

The great Lonnie Johnson who had been around performing and playing his guitar for over 20 years before signing with Syd Nathans King records in the late 40's scored only 4 R&B hits with that label between 1948 and 1950. So why is only one of those hits included on this cd titled"The Very Best...
