This product was beautiful to look at and that's about it. It crushes ice the same consistency as the ice crusher in my refridgerator. I expected a finer crushed ice like that is used in a bar.

Spend the extra bucks

This product makes ice, but does not store it. So at any given time, you have a small basket filled with melting, almost clear ice. I returned mine after it broke in the first 24 hours.
