HDMI goes out very two months don't buy

very good receiver
sound is not loud but a very clear clean sound. bought a lower priced onkyo but not happy with it. this one fullfills all my expectations. not easy to setup but worth the trouble.

The various listening modes are not well describe in the instructon manual. The remote has too many buttons for the relatively small size.

Mediocre, at best
Stay away...little, if any, transparency to the sound, zero staging/depth/imaging. I thought it sounded OK at the store, but when I got it home and hooked it up in the 'real world', I was tremendously dissapointed. Buy a used Aiwa before investing
